Setif University Hospital
Sétif Institute of Medical Sciences was established as an important educational institution in Algeria by Ministerial Order on October 6, 1980. Then, it was expanded by the decree of August 18, 1984 on the establishment of the Konstantin National Institute of Higher Education of Medical Sciences. Later, with the decree dated August 1, 1989 on the establishment of Sétif University, Sétif University took the name of the Institute of Medical Sciences.
During this process, with the changes made in the field of medical education, the name of the institution was updated to Sétif University Faculty of Medicine. August December 2, 1998, the name of the faculty was first established by the decree of August 1, 1989, and was changed by the decree of December 2, 1998. Then, it was updated once again with the decree of November 28, 2011.
The Faculty of Medicine of Sétif University consists of three main departments: the Department of Medicine, the Department of Pharmacy and the Department of Dental Surgery. These departments provide students with a wide range of education in the field of medicine, preparing them for successful careers in the healthcare sector.
