Established in 1999 with the motto “Closest University to Professional Life”, Okan University, founded by Bekir Okan, a multi-sector entrepreneur of over 50-year experience, now provides high quality education to 26.000 students. Okan University comprises nine faculties (Dental School, Medical School, School of Business and Administrative Sciences, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Arts, Design and Architecture, School of Health Sciences, School of Engineering and Natural Sciences, School of Education Sciences and Law School).College degree programs are provided by the Vocational School, School of Applied Sciences and School of Health Services. With additional 3 Institutes and the School of Fine Arts, Okan University is a giant education base with over 250 degree and certificate programs.
Okan University not only provides qualified education, but also graduates its students highly equipped for their future career. In addition to English, languages of global business centers like Mandarin, Russian and Arabic courses are also provided as an option.
As Okan University prepares its students for graduation with courses such as “Getting Ready for Professional Life” and “Happy Life Program”, in additional to Turkey’s first “Entrepreneurship Course”, a comprehensive internship schedule enables its students to accumulate experience in prominent companies of Turkey.
