National Scientific Center for Cardiac Surgery
On the instructions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nazarbayev, the "National Scientific Heart Surgery Center" A.Sh., began operations by opening its doors on October 12, 2011.
The center is a leading cardiac surgery center in the Central Asian region and meets world standards in terms of the quality and level of medical services, has local and international recognition in scientific and educational activities, has strong human resources, effective corporate and business-oriented management.
There are 6 operating rooms and two intensive care units with a capacity of 36 beds in the center. The total bed capacity of the center is 200.
Medical assistance The center provides medical assistance in the following areas:
- Cardiology;
- Cardiac surgery;
- Interventional cardiology;
- Interventional arrhythmology;
- Radiation Diagnoses (Ultrasound, X-ray, Echocardiography, MRI, MSCT);
- Laboratory diagnostics.
The main clinical areas of the center are:
- Treatment of congenital and subsequent heart defects;
- Ischemic heart disease;
- Heart failure;
- Heart rhythm disorders.
